CMA CGM announces new RRI to US East Coast
CMA CGM will apply a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) on cargo shipped from Türkiye and other Mediterranean-region ports to the US East Coast.
The revised rates will take effect on 1 November 2026 and apply to tariff and service contract shipments.

The second rate level covers the following origins:
- East Mediterranean: Greece, Lebanon, Malta, Syria, Egypt and Cyprus
- Black Sea: Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and Ukraine
- Adriatic: Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Italy
- North Africa: Algeria, Libya and Tunisia
The increases apply to cargo moving to the US East Coast and inland destinations served through its ports. All cargo types are included except out-of-gauge shipments.
