Dexory Unveils New Tool to Tackle Warehouse Congestion and Delays

Warehouse robotics specialists Dexory have rolled out a new feature to improve operations. The DexoryView Optimization module uses data from autonomous robots and warehouse management systems to help businesses move goods faster, reduce bottlenecks, and maximize space.

This new tool builds on the DexoryView Integrity module, which gives a real-time view of warehouse activity. Optimization allows companies to spot congested areas, improve picking and put-away tasks, and reduce manual slotting audits.

“The warehousing industry doesn’t just need more data, it needs smarter and faster ways to act on it,” said Andrei Danescu, CEO and Co-founder of Dexory. “The DexoryView Optimization module has been designed and developed to allow warehouses to achieve optimal efficiency, move faster and scale smarter, whilst not adding complexity to operations.”

Yusen Logistics has been testing the new module and has already seen results. “With the optimization features, we are able to gain efficiencies in space utilization,” said Lukasz Winiecki, Inventory Manager at Yusen Logistics. “The new features allow us to further improve our performance and remove the need for us to manually look for opportunities to better optimize our warehouse.”

The DexoryView Optimization module focuses on five main features:

Outbound optimizer: Helps place fast-moving inventory that is easier to access, speeding up deliveries. Slotting verification: Ensures items are stored in the right places to avoid errors and improve compliance. Consolidation planner: Groups similar items to free up space and cut unnecessary travel time. Replenishment optimizer: Provides a visual map of inventory for faster restocking. Congestion analysis: Identifies warehouse bottlenecks to improve workflow and safety. Warehouses that fail to optimize their layouts waste space, slow down fulfillment, and risk losing money. According to Dexory, one of its customers recently found $174,000 of misplaced goods in just two weeks using its tools.
