MSC applies reefer surcharge from Egypt to Far East and Middle East
Due to the ongoing equipment situation impacting the region, MSC will apply an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EBS) for all reefer cargo from Egypt to the Far East and the Middle East.
The Swiss/Italian ocean carrier said the surcharge will take effect from 2 April, and the amount has been set at US$400 per reefer container.
