FedEx Corporation has appointed Jamere Jackson as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective November 30, 2026.

Jackson joins FedEx from AutoZone, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2021. Most recently, he also oversaw the company’s Finance and Store Development functions.

Before joining AutoZone, Jackson held senior financial leadership positions at several major companies. These included Hertz Global Holdings and Nielsen Holdings, where he served as CFO.

Earlier in his career, he also held various leadership roles at General Electric. His responsibilities included serving as CFO of a division within GE Oil and Gas.

In addition, Jackson serves on the Board of Directors of Eli Lilly & Co., where he chairs the Audit Committee.

FedEx President and CEO Raj Subramaniam welcomed Jackson to the company’s executive leadership team.

“I am pleased to welcome Jamere to FedEx and the executive leadership team,” said Raj Subramaniam, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation.

Subramaniam highlighted Jackson’s experience in financial management, capital allocation and operational performance. He also expressed confidence that the appointment would support FedEx’s strategy for profitable growth.

The FedEx CEO thanked Claude Russ for his leadership during the interim period and his contributions to the company.

Meanwhile, Jackson expressed enthusiasm about joining the logistics group and working with its financial leadership team.

“FedEx is a remarkable business with an extraordinary team and significant opportunity ahead,” Jackson said.

He added that he looks forward to supporting the company’s profitable growth strategy and applying his previous financial leadership experience.

The appointment will take effect on November 30, completing the transition from the company’s interim financial leadership arrangements.
