OSV company falls victim of ransomware attack
Vallianz was hit by a cyberattack, granting an unauthorized party access to the company’s servers.
As reported, upon discovering the ransomware attack, OSV owner and operator Vallianz, took swift action to assess, contain, and resolve the issue with assistance from external experts, while activating its business continuity plan.
The incident was reported to the relevant authorities.
According to an initial assessment and the available information, the company stated that “there has been no significant impact” on its business operations resulting from the incident. This is the second Singapore-listed company to report such an incident in less than a week.
