CMA CGM temporarily cuts transatlantic leg from PAD service
CMA CGM will temporarily suspend the transatlantic leg of its Panama Direct (PAD) service following the end of the kiwifruit season.
According to DynaLiners, the suspension will last 18 weeks, from mid-November 2026 until late March 2027.
The shortened service will continue to provide weekly sailings between Australasia and the US East Coast. However, North European ports will be removed during this period.
The adjustment will allow CMA CGM to remove four ships from the service. The revised fleet will comprise 11 vessels of around 2,500 TEU each.
The temporary PAD rotation will be:
New York – Savannah – Kingston – Papeete – Noumea – Brisbane – Sydney – Melbourne – Tauranga – Cartagena – Savannah – Philadelphia – New York
